When Everyone Can See It But You Exodus 10:7, 12:27-33 & 13:17 to 14:4
Summary of Sermon
Pharaoh was defying God. He thought he was fighting Moses, but God was his enemy. The sad part about it was that it seemed that the people in his court, Exodus 10:7 and the people in his country could see it, but he could not. They understood that they were being destroyed. Pride blinds us, we become tone-deaf to the people warning us and we even refuse to see God’s warning.
Sooner or later, we all run into God’s judgement. Pharaoh did. He could not see that God was setting him up to fail when God took the Jews out the hard way and deliberately hedged them in between the Red Sea and the wilderness. Pride, we are told, comes before destruction, Proverbs 16:18.
Stay humble, stop fighting God, obey and submit, God will exalt you like He did for Moses.
